The Xichang Satellite Launch Center is a spaceport in China. It is located in Zeyuan Town, northwest of Xichang, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan.
Added launch per NOTAMs. Trajectory is consistent with 55 deg. inclination, could be Beidou replenishments navigation satellites but drop zones/launch time not a good match.

Satellite failure confirmed by Chinese media. The launch vehicle does not seem to be responsible, per current information.
